RECOVER Impact
Millions of adults and children are currently struggling with debilitating symptoms of Long COVID. In 2021, NIH designed and launched RECOVER, a first-of-its-kind research initiative dedicated to understanding, diagnosing, preventing, and treating Long COVID.

Understanding
RECOVER makes study data compatible across research areas to amplify impact and findings. For example, findings from electronic health records (EHRs) and observational studies equipped us to design and launch evidence-based clinical trials.
