NIH to share RECOVER-TLC updates during November 21 webinar
NIH leaders will discuss the current status of RECOVER-TLC, share information about potential Long COVID treatments to be tested in RECOVER-TLC clinical trials, and answer questions from the public.
On Thursday, November 21, 2024, at 2 PM EST, the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and the Foundation for the National Institutes of Health (FNIH) will host a webinar about RECOVER-Treating Long COVID (RECOVER-TLC).
Dr. Jeanne Marrazzo, NIAID Director, and Dr. Julie Gerberding, Chief Executive Officer of the FNIH, will begin the webinar with brief introductions. Dr. Joseph Breen (NIAID) will present an update on the status of RECOVER-TLC overall and Dr. Lizzie Geerling (FNIH) will provide a summary of proposed therapeutic agents submitted to the RECOVER-TLC portal to date.
The remaining portion of the webinar will be dedicated to answering questions or comments about RECOVER-TLC. To maximize the number of questions that can be addressed during the webinar, the webinar’s organizers will accept questions and comments ahead of time. Anyone can submit a question by emailing recover-tlc-submissions@nih.gov. Audience members also will be able to pose questions to presenters live during the webinar.
